Incarcerated persons cannot receive incoming phone calls. However, incarcerated persons can receive messages by calling the incarcerated person information line and follow the prompts. The number to dial is (559) 400-7521. You will be prompted to enter an eight digit PIN. You must first enter the number '0', followed by the incarcerated person's seven digit JID #. There will be a $1.00 charge for a 30 second message.
In the event of an emergency, call the Watch Commander at (559) 600-8440 or contact the facility where the inmate is housed and ask to speak with a sergeant. He or she will determine if notification to the incarcerated person is appropriate.
